Hi Everyone, just finished a rebuild on my 6.2 after installing the engine and all wires checked. I noticed that the glow plugs are not cycling and the glow plug light does not go on. also i know that you have to bleed the air, but what is the correct procedure, i don't want to kill my pump. any advice will help,
    thanks

I dont know about the correct procedure for bleeding the fuel system, but I always losen an injector line and crank the engine over until fuel comes out. And it shouldnt hurt your injector pump cranking it, because it has a mechanical pump feeding it.

Fill out your bio ae so we know what yr we're taking about. Assuming the filter has been bled (or not changed yet) loosen the injecotr lines at the injectors, have some one spin the motor over while you tighten down the lines that have realy started do leak. After a couple of cranks (don't smoke the starter) you should be good.

Do you have the controller module mounted on the manifold? Is it getting power?

Real trucks don't have spark plugs!

I've got the procedure at home in my Haynes manual. It worked great when I bled the system incorrectly after a fuel filter change. I'll post it first thing when I get home, unless someone else posts it before me.
