I just read the story about the garage... it made me think of parking my Jimmy that's lifted 6" and has 35x14" ground hawgs. whenever I go to a store that has straight in parking i have to make really quick turn into the space. I just can't do it at slow speeds, I start thinking about how close to the other car I am and I end up having to back up and straighten out. It's truly a skill to drive my truck without looking like I'm drunk or like the truck is going to fall apart... though I make driving it look simple. I won't let my sisters or mom or aunt drive it because of their lack of felling for it. I don't trust them because they're used to their nice small new cars. However, my dad does drive it when he has to move it (which is rare) but he understands about the wandering thing.

I have let my dad and 2 friends drive it, and thats it. I only let the friends drive it because they were good drivers and not very far...plus I drove theirs. On the parking, I have gotten really good at it, and can usually go in pretty fast and scare the sh!t out of people riding with me.

yeah, scaring them i s common wit me too! they scream and brace up for the worst crash of their life... then they yell at me for driving like and idiot. Now am I driving like an idiot if I know exactly what I'm doing? I don't think so, they just think that because they know that they wouldn't have been able to control it

my dad has driven mine 2 or 3 times, but other than that NO ONE has driven my k5, and never will. too much that they could messup, like the small tuning radius, ir loose steering etc.... i only allow MYSELF to drive it. hehe
