noise i cant find need help

    THIS NOISE IM GETTING HAS STUMPED ME IT SOUND LIKE THE REAR AXLE BUT NOT SURE WHEN I TURN A CORNER I GET A CLUNCK WHEN I STOP CLUNCK WHEN I GO CLUNCK THE BLAZER HAS A 6"LIFT AND A 10 BOLT AXLE (I KNOW NOT A GOOD AXLE) 35" TIRES AND A HOST OF OTHER GOODIES AXLE DOES NOT SEEM BAD AND SPRING ARE TIGHT WHAT COULD IT BE

    did you look at your universal joints yet?

    they clunk when they go bad, and they're a cheap fix...

    Another place to look is the carrier in your diff.

    I'm not 100% sure but the newer trucks, tahoes, and suburbans have a slip yoke that when not greased causes a bump like you are describing when starting and stoping. You might try removing your driveshaft and puting some high temp grease in the spline area of your slip yoke.

    Have the same problem with my 80 k5. Found out I need A new rear end, just don't have the funds to get her fixed now.

    There ain't no way I'll get stuck in that hole.....oops.
