My wife and I were just talking about how cool it would be if there was a NCBD softball team, where we could all get together in a "semi-organized" way and play ball, have some people cheering us on, and get a little exercise....! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't know if there are any leagues this time of year, or if we would have enough people to just play amongst ourselves....but with the weather being so mild and nice these days, it seems like a great way to get together and involve the "families" a little more in the club too....

Anyone else think this is a good idea? I don't even own a glove, but I think it would be a blast to go get one, and try to play baseball again after 20 years!

the only problem i see is that we are all scattered about the bay area. it might not be a problem for me, but those in Hollister, modesto, etc. it might be tough

So since I'm a retired superstar, would it be possible to have a chartered Lear Jet for my transportion since I'm so far away? /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Me too. Oh wait, If I don't have to drive that far, you got to and vice versa. Well then, I make the motion to have a meeting at Golddigger's. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
