I'm definitely in and I'm sure I can get about 9 or 10 guys from my club to go. Unfortunately most of my club is jeeps but we've got a few more fullsizes, a couple pretty cool zuki's, a BIG '56 Willy's pickup, and a K5/CJ hybrid that should be done by then.

I was there this past Sept. for the Pocono Trail Fest put on by Sports in the Rough. They've got every type of trail you could want, from "bone stock" to "drag it home on a trailer". Trails there are rated 1-5 and then they just came up with the 5+ rating after some of the hardcore guides got creative with the chainsaws making new trails. The guys in my club that went ran the 5 and 5+ trails and everyone broke at least one thing. That was the first time I ever saw a D60 break. 95% of the trails are rock and there's a couple on sand and mud/bottomless pit. It's a really nice park and it's very well maintained. If this does turn into a big ride the guides could get expensive if we need a lot of them, they won't let you on the trails without one. The park is around 15,000 acres so you can get lost pretty easily. The website is www.rit.edu/~bajawww

Looks like it will be a go. Boss all help is appreciated since I never planned anything like this before.[IMG] I think I will stay off the **Drag it home on the trailer** trails for now since I do have to drive it to work.[IMG] If I have the doubler in by then I might change my mind. I plan to get to Paragon a couple of times before the run to do trail maintenance so if anybody wants to check the park out for free those are the best days and I think you get pass vouchers when helping with trail maint. TealJ is one of the people that helps Paragon alot and lives close to me so I will talk to her too about this.

Definately bring your buds! The more the merrier. I think with more # of vehicles, the cost of admission also drops for the rest of the group as well. I'll double check that. I definately hear you on the spares dept. I'm planning on going to Canton, OH, with Emmit in June or July, then this, and maybe check out the Bigdogs production down in VA for their Summer Slam, then this, and end it with the Dixie Run [IMG].

    Wayne,
don't let not having the Doubler stop you from trying the rougher trails. Your rig so far is built very tough...it's all about the driver remember [IMG].
I'll go ahead and start a sign up sheet and keep track of emails and names and stuff for this. Sayy, in a month or so, we'll get everyone that says they're "definately in" to chip in for the deposit, then we'll have the date set and stuff, so on and so forth......

also, they dont force you to have guides with you any more, as long as you have more than 3 trucks. They changed that this year.

Thanks again. Also thanks for the compliment on the truck.[IMG] I hope to have quite a bit done by August. I am just going to keep acquireing parts till spring then tear into it. Plans are your bumper with some mods, new rear bumper with carrier, crossover steering, 9012's all around, F150 rear springs, steering box brace, 400/205 swap, and 38's. Hope to have all that done by the end of April.

    Hey Boss,

Put me on your list as TwoCrowsDesign@att.net, I'll be changing email shortly.

Also, I've got some webspace and could put up an information page (nothing too fancy) for this run if you guys like the idea.

Let me know how I can help.

    John

I just got off the phone with Kyle. We will need a deposit of $150 to hold the park for the weekend. It will cost $35 a day per vehicle. We can split into groups of 3 or more and run the park without a guide unless we deside on the 5+ trails and for them we will need a guide but he is not sure on the price for the guide for the day yet. If you chip in for the deposit then the $35 a day cost comes out of the deposit. Kyle also recommended that some of us go to the park beforehand to check it out. I figure maybe a couple of us can go and do trail maintenance, and as far as I know you get voutchers for free passes when doing that. Also we need a name for the run and if nobody minds I would like to handle that.

    Biggray, Done.

Wayne, Yeah, what Twocrow said, name the damn thing!! :)
I can throw down like 100beans for the deposit and have somebody pay me back later, or if enought people are "definately in" then, they/we can just each put in $35 and that should add up to $150. All we will need is like 4 or 5 dudes to do that. Depending on what day trail maintenance is, I can "try" and make it...that place is kinda far as is, but we'll see. Thanks for checking up on that. Guides are always usually good on trails we've never done before, especially the 5+ ones :), so we'll atleast know where we're going. The easier ones, I don't see too much of a need for them though.
