    What is the difference between a K5 and a K10 Blazer?
    I haven't noticed anything significant.

    I dont' think there ever was an official K10 Blazer. The K10 designation was for the 1/2 ton, 4wd pickups which shared pretty much all of the same components except for the rear bed. The K5 was the official designation for the Blazers up until '89 or so when it then V10 until they were discontinued in '91.
    A quick summary:
    C = 2wd
    K = 4wd
    5 = Blazer
    10 = 1/2 ton pickup
    20 = 3/4 ton pickup
    30 = 1 ton pickkup

    A 1/2 ton, 2wd pickup would be a C10, while a 1 ton 4x4 would be a K30, etc.....

    My title for my K5 says K10 on it. It's just another code for guys down at the ol' DMV.

    I thought the Blazer body style was 8.

    K-5's are listed in parts manuals and licensing as K-10 usually every time. I'm not sure why they never wanna call 'em 5 but they're practically a C/K 10 pickup so what the hey.
