Well, as I posted before, my son was in the hospital with pneumonia a couple weeks ago. He seemed to be doing better then he started hurting again. A few days ago they readmitted him to the hospital. It seems he had developed a sist the size of a lemon on the back of his lung as a result of the pneumonia. Today he went into surgury and they were able to clean it up (thank god). I just got back from the hospital a little while ago and he is doing good. He's not a kid, 23 but it still sucks.
Looks like Christmas dinner will be in the hospital tomorrow but as he said,
"all I want is us to be together for Christmas" and I agree.
Seeing little kids in there for Christmas just makes me sad.
I wish I had a bunch of toys to take in there tomorrow to give to some of them.
I'm just happy all went well for my son and even if we are at the hospital, it will still be a great Christmas :D

    Thanks guys. Merry Christmas.
Makes you really think about what you have even if it isn't much, it can still be a lot.

I know exactly how you feel,. My second daughter suffers from athsma and we spent most of the holidays with her in the hospital when she was 2. We almost lost her, I never wish this on anyone , it's very traumatic to go thru a time like this a lot of questions are asked to the big guy upstairs but no answers til you see someone who is far worse off than you are and you realize what you have. Some times bad things have to happen for us to realize what we have and we should cherish it for the very short while we will have it with us. I hope all ends well with your son and he gets better... Good luck..

Yeah it sucks but just having the surgery go good was awesome.
Made my day. I will be just happy to get him back on his feet.
Your right when you see others with worst problems.
Seeing little kids in there just makes me want to go out and buy some giant teddy bears or something to suprise them and put a big smile on there faces.
If you want a real taste of realality, stop by a hospital on Christmas day and see how you feel after. Makes me think of how lucky to have the somewhat boring Christmas's in the past.
Thanks for the good word guys. Looks like he might get out tomorrow or the next day, that's all I need for x-mas
