When you are feeling 10 feet tall and invincible, you still will have an incredibly hard time moving that dana 60 around in the garage.

    And:

When you mother-in-law brings you a bottle of Crown Royal, be sure to thank her for it. :doah:

You should have seen me and Eric M. moving a DRW Dana 60 down his dads steep ass driveway (with a truck in the middle) in San Francisco. Those driveways are hella steep.

That was the only thing I specified to my wife when we were looking for a house.

    A flat driveway.

I picked up the axles from Sapper, used 79stomper's engine hoist to get it in the truck, installed it in my 87, then parted that one out, clarkjw24 and cb77gmc helped me load it into my truck, used an engine hoist to get out of my truck. May hold the record for most ck5 members touching a dana 60. Hope to install it in my 85 this winter or next spring.

The real question is, when did you pick up another k20? I must have missed that one.

inherited it 3 years ago when my grandfather passed away. :(

after the C1500 is done, i start looking for a replacement for this one so i can retire it from snow duty. factory resto with a couple extra beefs here and there. planning on a 383/400/205, a nice hitch and trailer brake setup, removal of the plow, a 2.5" lift and a set of 33s on tasteful wheels.

the color is a mix of a bunch of scrap paint we had at work, so i thought it was going to be impossible to recreate, until the '05 model coaches came out. got ahold of a color chip from one of our blues, and its only a shade or 2 lighter. :D

No, one of those new Nacho Crunch Grilled Stuft Burritos from Taco Hell.

Good cure for a hangover, incidentally.

shoulda seen me dragging my D60 up shane74s steep ass driveway by myself, now that was an adventure. Best part was that there were 3-4 neighbors out and about and not a single one offered to help... even when my cherry picker got up on 2 wheels and almostr flipped over. lol!! rich suns a biatches!
