    Just found out that I have a blown head gasket on my wife's car 1995 f#@%*&^&%rd taurus wagon. another $1000. any ideas. engine torn out of the k5 nowhere close to being done and no time to do either. ^%$^%$###$# sorry

    sounds like you just found one of the two weak links of the taurus, in fact you might have spiderwebbed heads, it's not uncommon on those. The other weak link is the tranny if it's an automatic

    It's a Ford thing....we wouldn't understand. Here is a gallon of gas and a match. will fix the problem right up :)
