her att used the states formula for child support and it ain't pretty.
How ugly are we talking?
all the atts i called said don't get an att??!!!the said they all use the same formula and thats it.
What did your attorney say???
(you did get one didn't you?)
besides, don't worry about what her attorney says, he's just gonna try to get you to agree to support, visitation, splitting assets and all that jazz on her terms prior to going to court. Only the guy in the black robe gets to tell you what you really have to pay.
Just to clarify, they should only figure both incomes, health insurance and daycare, thats it. Nothing else.
Shoot me a PM and we'll talk more about this. I think I'm getting away pretty good with the figures my lawyer calculated for me to pay the ex.
They may to arrive at a beginning point, but nothing is set in stone until court. Are you self employed or a wage earning employee, that can make a huge difference. Do you recieve a per diem for work or bonuses? The way they look at all these things can vary.
Oh, most importantly, they also figure in the type of custody you two are agreeing to. For example: full, residential, joint, etc.
My ex and I are agreeing to joint custody with shared residential agreement since the kids are with each of us 50% of the time. Neither one of us wants the other to be the residential parent. This is the only way to get the cheapest support to pay her. I won't settle for anything less than joint custody. This helps that we both live in the same town.
well in the winter i have $500.00 left after paying all the bills. they want $513.46 i have not even figured in food for me or gas in the trucks.
Do you own or rent your house? Might be time to move and/or find a roommate.
Like it was quoted above: nothing is set in stone yet.
Those formula's can be a real PITA. They are also very hard to get around in many jurisdictions. Your best shot is to make an agreement with her if possible.
my computer wacked me again, anyway she only lives 1/2 mile from me.WTF??doods i can't afford an attorney and they tell me there is really nothing at this point they can do anyway. we are separated.
Hire an attorney, NOW!!!
Do NOT listen to the ex! She cannot be trusted at this time because she is doing and saying whatever her lawyer is telling her to do and say.
Hire one immediately!!!
so after the court date (i'm gonna talk to the judge my self) i might be fooked.
My ex lives about 7 or 8 blocks away from me. I got an attorney and paid as much as I could til the funds ran out. My folks are helping with the rest in which I have to pay them back. They told me to take my time paying them back but will do so with the tax refund for '06.
One more thing to ask you and its very important that we know now: Has your wife filed for divorce yet?
If not, nows the time to get to an attorney immediately and file, NOW! Do it before she does and you become the petitioner and her the respondent.
i refuse to move( i own it) and i thought aboot a room mate.
I wouldn't. You could get in serious trouble if you do this.
but i only have a 2 bedroom house and AUDRIC needs his own room.hell i don't know.
What he said.
i tried last night and she want another$100.00 a month for latch key after school???????
