I like that truck too. We have a project like that. Here's where it's at right now:
There was a pic of it, but I put it in url form to conserve bandwidth.

It's a '56 GMC. The front part of the frame is an '84 blazer frame and the back part of the frame (from behind the first body mount back) is original '56 frame. It has both blazer axles under it with a 205 t-case. It will wear 33's or 35's when it's done.

Thats Maurice Rozo's Big Bird! He's the owner of Off Road Unlimited in Burbank, CA.
I have a '56 Chevy big back window cab waiting to go onto an 85 short bed 4x4 frame. It already has a short step side bed on it too. I was planning on building it up like the ORU yellow Big Bird. Dont know if I am going to anymore. Anybody want some parts off this truck?

Yes, that is a very very nice truck. Muddin', go with 35s for sure...with about 6 inches of lift..paint in canary yellow...you'd have one sweet ride. I saw one just like that last summer...and It was awsome...keep us (me) posted on how the project is goin'...
