That looks like either an M34 GASOLINE powered 6x6 or and M35, which has a multi-fuel engine that will burn anything from Napthanline to chicken fat!

I was a 63B in the Army and we drove M151's under water many times. With the fording kit's installed you could just pull out the hand throttle and drive as deep as you could go while keeping your hands on the wheel and your head above water /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif.

Cool! I was in a nightclub about 15 years ago that was showing all sorts of old newsreels and such on various screens around the place. THAT was one of the clips and I've wanted to see it again ever since! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Ain't nothin' like offroading while wearing a scuba tank! /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif

That would be cool as long as the the bottom was hard. Has anyone here ever driven on the bed of a drained lake? Very silty stuff that can make a recovery diffcuilt, under water would be very bad!

    BTW cool clip
