NP 208 rebuild kit

    who makes a "good" rebuild kit for the np 208? where & how much?

    If you can afford the downtime tear it apart and see what needs replacing. Usually a new tailshaft bushing and a chain is all you need. National Drivetrain has a Morse for ~$85 and the stealership wants ~$10 for the tailhousing bushing.

    basically i think the chain is what needs to be replaced but i will do the bushing then also...after all it only has 200,000 miles on it & has never been apart!!! so i figured it's time to do a little lookin' seems like it's got some slop in it...

    I have gotten NP208 parts from www.drivetrain.com before. They seemed to carry quite a bit for the 208.
