I have a 77 k5 with full time 4x4. I think it has an NP203. If it gets into neutral, It is hard to get back into gear, but shifts between 4hi and 4hi-loc perfectly fine. Any suggestions?

Thanks, I tried it but I don't think I sprayed enough or something. It's still a little hard and I have to turn the engine off to shift but at least it DOES shift now. I will try again tomorrow.

When you are shifting the 203 shifter, you MUST have the transmission in Nuetral.... In case you werent already doing it that way..

I know its a stupid question but did you check the oil to make sure it's full? also take the boot off and make sure it's not hitting the body. sometimes the mounts break or crack or just loose and the linkage gets in a bind. check the locking nuts too on the linkage maybe they came loose.hope it helps.

whats a 4 letter word for farm wagon? (ford) [IMG]

Thanks, I'll check oil and linkage as soon as possible, have to work tomorrow. Got some engine degreaser, would that help?
