I also have the 205. The 207 was the predecessor to the 231 used in the S-10's.
I still don't understand what this post is about though. [IMG]

Is this a question or a statement? (Let try to get it right(on) !) This, based on the Executioner's past posts, probably means the following: Please try and be sure of the FACTS about specific t-cases before you post a reply regarding the NP203, NP207, NP208, NP205 etc.... This is my best guess to the post.
God forbid someone would make a mistake and post something incorrect :)

but hey, I could be wrong too!

I think he's trying to remind us to include the "NP" when refering to t-cases, oops, I mean transfer-cases.[IMG]

Ut Oh, looks like Executioner needs to do a little research himself before he states FACTS. He didnt put the t'cases down in order!! The 205 wasn't the last to be designed between the 4 you listed. Oooopsie!!!

The 203 is by far the best one first. Lets see, you got a chain that with use stretches out, you got specific maintenance procedures to follow if you convert it to part time or you wont allow it to oil itself properly, its 4" longer than the 205 (which tight space makes a difference in short wheelbase vehicles), the shifter has to be adjusted, and adjusted right or you'll have problems. The 205 hasn't any of those problems. Enough said

Okay, I usually stay out of these, but this one seems light hearted enough I'll comment.

    From "Ex's" posts...
"Lets get it..." Should be "Let's get it..."
"...you a head ach, b ut this..." Should be "...you a head ache, but this..."
"...just to much...." Should be "...just too much..."
"...Really it was a...." Should be "...Really, it was.."
Better yet, don't start sentences with adjectives.

Also, I believe the point of the post was to help fellow K5ers understand posts better. Why then was the post so vague?

I hope you take this not as a slam, but as some light hearted prodding. If you are going to be critical, be very sure you aren't being hypocritical.

On a different note, everybody has the ability to amend their own posts. When you realize you made a mistake, go back and change it in the original instead of making a new post.

We have people on this board from every walk of life. Some are more literate than others, some more anal than others. If you know what the post means, even though there are some minor errors, what is the problem?

    Just my 02 cents.

I can't believe a post like this has generated 18 replies.

    Good Grief Charlie Brown.
