Anyone converted a NP203 (full time) behind a THM 350 auto to an NP 208?
I understand the 700R4 trans from 1981-1993 GM fullsize 4x4's has the same output spline count (27) as the THM 350, but I need an adapter plate.

Is this correct and what else do I need to know/do - mounts, driveshafts, etc

    any help appreciated

Try http://www.advanceadapters.com/ they should have everything you need to help you out. Im not sure on the spline count but on mine the 700r4 had a longer shaft than my turbo 350 tranny. And i didnt want to swap out tranny's or shafts(i like my t350) I think you might have a few minor driveshaft mods to. I was gonna do it but found a NP205 that bolted up to my 350 and the rest is history. Needless to say I've got a 700r4/np208 combo for $500 if anybody wants it.

keep the 203 it a much stroger case than the 208, If you must change then go to 205 Or better yet bolt the 205 to the back of the 203 rang box with Help from ORD and have the best of the best with 4 to 1 low.

I understand the jeep thing I drive a BLAZER!!
