Stupid Newbie Question, please bear with me. Are all th400 the same, and the 205 and the 203 made to fit them or are the transmission's outputs different depending on the transfer case?

As far as different 400s, of course there are 4WD ones and 2WD ones; but there are 2 types of bell housings, one is the K case. It has a large K stamped on the bell housing, this is sronger than the one w/o the K. The outputs are different lengths, I am not sure which is longer, but I know they are different lengths.

Check out the Doubler info page and the NP205 tech info page on our site (linked below) for more on this, basically there's 3 different shafts but I've spelled it out on our site pretty well.
