Alright I finally have all the parts I need to swap my 203 to a 205 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I think. Anyone wanna give some advice before I start, its going behind a 350/350. I'm running a 6" susp anyone know the leangth the dlines should end up being? It would be nice to be able to pull them and have them done before I start. Do I need to move the crossmember?

No you won't have to move the location of the crossmember but you will need a crossmember from a 205 (the bolt holes for the adapter mounting are closer together versus the 203..)(Well they are on mine at least..Went from a th350/203 to a 465/205 and the mounting holes for the adapter were narrower for the 205 Not sure if it is the same for the th350/205 but check first) /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

    Can the holes be redrilled?

Yes they can but they have to be oblonged like the 203 holes were..but double check( I am not sure though IMO it would be easier to get a crossmember form a 205) then use the old crossmember for a second frame brace...Look about 1-1.5 feet back fom the org location and you should see some other holes that will line up with the crossmember... /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I did this long time ago and used the same crossmember.
