78 Blazer, with a NP205. Shifting it around from 4wL,N,2WH,4WH and back is smooth and fairly easy. However, after wheeling around in 4WL for awhile it is sometimes very hard to shift back to 2WD. The linkage does not appear to be sticking and the oil level in the case is good. Is this normal or anything I should look at?

What you're experiencing is gear wind-up - perfectly normal for an all-gear part-time transfer case. Don't force the shift lever! Apply light pressure as you drive slowly in a zig-zag pattern and it will pop out effortlessly.

Also try backing up slowly while shifting to 2wd.

Good things come in small packages. Good things come to those who wait. So, if you're waiting for a small package, that must *really* be sweet.
