NP208 shifter plug????

    Ok, just saw this tonite as i was doin some touch up painting, it was too dark to see where this went, but there was a connector of some type, hooked to a wire the end looked like 2 round prongs. It was hanging from my floorboard down above the transfercase. It probably came loose when I did my body lift, or it may explain why the light on my 4x4 lever never worked. Where does this plug go? thanks.

    There is a sender on the side of the t-case that it plugs into.

    ok, does it control that light or does it control somethin else too? just wondering if thats why that light never worked, or if i need to change that bulb

    Yeah, I believe it is the gear indicator switch.
