I am sure this question has come up before. I want to change out the oil in both my NP 208 and sm465(I am sure it has never been done). the sm 465 i can tell where the drain plug is, however where is the fill plug? and how much gear oil(80/90) do i put back in? also where do you drain the 208 and how much ATF do you put back in? Thanks in advance

The fill plug for the 465 is up on the drivers side of the tranny. It is about mid way up. It should take about a gallon of 80W-90. You will need a pump or squeeze bottles with a small hose to fill it.

The 208 drain and fill plugs are on the back of the case. You can use an adjustable wrench, but be careful not to round off the plug. The actual socket size is 1-3/16". It should take about 5 quarts of ATF. Dexron III/Mercon
