    is this a good tcase what are its strenghts and weakneses?

    <font color="green"> The big strength of the 208 is that it's got a great low range, 2.61:1 compared to 1.98:1 for the 205 and 2.00:1 for the 203. It's biggest weaknesses are the fact that it almost always has a slipyoke, and it has an aluminum case that is pretty fragile. If you are into rock crawling it's highly recommended that you build a really beefy skidplate for it, because if you drop it hard on a rock it could crack pretty easily. </font>

    Its weakness is that it hangs way below the frame and is made of aluminum. It can be either one but not both. Furthermore, the transfercase hangs below the crossmember.

    I have a couple pieces of my 208 that have been donated to mother nature. Someday I'll make a skidplate for it but until then...
