Are Cloyes transfer case chains any good? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif
I would like to know who makes the better chains myself. The chain I just took out of my 241 says Moyer, and I think it was the factory chain.
Cloyes makes great products . I copied this from their PDF catalogue available free online .
I am aware of their vast array of timing chains, etc. for motors, but wasn't sure about their transfer case stuff. But I guess they are both pretty close to being the same.
I just want to make sure I get a transfer case chain that will last a while...
FYI for those who need it: (FOR 89 NP-241)
www.txchange.com has the rebuild kits for $149, and Cloyes chains for $68
I can beat both of those prices.
