NP241 Questions - Will it fit???

    I have a 1989 K1500 that I am getting ready to scrap. I am considering taking the transfer case out to have as a spare for my 1991 Jimmy. Are the two compatible? How much effort and time is it going to take to get the thing out? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    The front output will be on the wrong side /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    The internals are proll all the same though

    you are absolutely correct. i didnt even think of that, the 89 is 40 miles away and i havent looked at it in months. thanks /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

    I believe they switched to electronic speedo in 90 too
