Does anyone have any idea how to pull the rear output shaft out of the t-case? Is there a good manual I can buy that would show me how to do this? BTW it's the slip yoke style.

The rear output shaft is actually a mainshaft. Ask Polaris, she just had to replace hers...

Just get a good set of c-clip pliers and go to town. I just tore mine down twice and there is nothing to it. I don't even have a shop book( I do, it just doesn't have anything about my year truck in it). Just pretend you know what you're doing and it will go back together. Or maybe take some pics as you go. It's really pretty easy. Good luck

I tried taking it apart but I couldn't get the shaft out of the main housing. It was like I had to seperate the 2 halves of the case.

I couldn't get into the links either.

Does anyone have an output shaft for sale?

Yeah, you have to split the case to get the shaft out.
I have an output shaft from my 1990 NP241 I will sell. It is in mint condition. I pulled it out when I did my SYE upgrade.

I will try to find some NP241 informtion/diagrams for you as well.

Here is a diagram of a left handed drop 241. Should be real close to the right handed drop used in the K5s.
