I always see posts about 205 and 208 t-cases, is there a reason that there isnt that many people using 241's? I have an 89 Jimmy with a TH400/NP241, is this a good set up or is there something that I should be aware of and should I consider changing to a 208 or 205?

The 241 is a decent case. Similar to the 208, just a newer version. I think you don't hear much about it because it wasn't used in K5's til 89, whereas the 208 was used from 81-88.

The 205 is the gear driven bomb-proof brute...it is superior in strength to almost any other t-case ever made, but the 1.96 low range leaves something to be desired.

With a good skid plate and a SYE I'd run a 241 without hesitation.
