So I was reading an offroad mag yesterday and it had an article on the new heep rubicon. It said it used an nvg 241 OR transfer case wit 4:1 low range. My question is are the planataries from that case compatible with the np241c case? 4:1 in my k5 jimmy would be sweet. Am I insane or has anyone else thought about this?

As for an answer to your question. No, it will not work. Me and a few others here have been looking for 4to1's for the GM 241's for some time now. There is something I want to look into some more though, a 231 T case SYE kit uses the same shaft as the 241 SYE kit. Not sure if the parts will swap from the 231 to the 241 but I would like to find out.

I have a NP241 with a SYE kit installed, I bought it from Jesse at www.highangledriveline.com . You might want to check with him. I paid around $325.00 for the conversion.
