Who here has one of these fun little things? I got the 1:18 Scorpion the other day and have (with the help of a friend) modded the crap of out of it. We got rid of the whole 'frame' and used a piece of all thread and made the truck a kind of 'stick' chassis. Works real well just need to find a better way to keep the body more level although the rubberbands do work well. Obviously I painted the truck to get rid of the hideous yellow. Roomate made stickers for the rims...BBS Mags..:D Rims were flipped and put on backwards to gain width. Wheelbase is 10" This little thing is pretty neat. :D Link to pics http://photobucket.com/albums/c59/daleearnhardt01/Nylint%20Crawler/

    Yep its the life... :D

As far as the rubber bands go that one on the front just holds the battery pack to the axle for weight..
