If anyone has a box of polyurethane body bushings laying around that fits a 76K5 could ya do me a favor? I'd like to try and get the dimensions of each style bushing in the kit. What I need is the inside diameter and the outside diameter of the various pieces. If you happen to know the "derometer' (the density) of them that would be cool too. TIA!

You can request this from the companies. Send them a formal fax with cover letter requestoin specs. for vehicle needed. And they will send it to you.

It's worth a try but I figured that that info would, especially the derometer, would be kind of secret. What I want to do is buy a few pieces of extruded polyurethane from this company called Piedmont Plastics and cut them down my self. I have talked to a guy about it already and he said that getting the derometer spec would be pretty crucial and that most companys wouldn't readily give it out. I'll fax Energy Suspension tomorrow and see what they say.

Some time back there was an article in one of the mags about urethane bushings that stated the durometer of various manufacturers - I believe that Energy Suspension pieces read 95A.

If the shoe fits, get another one just like it

I think it was Car Craft, but I'm not sure - it was during last summer.
