Well I have a SFD60 rear came out of a 1ton GMC like a 76 or 78 from what I was told. I know that spline count is considered important some are 30 and like mine 35. I think I may have even read once there was like an 18spline one that is the weakest??!!Could be just a brain fart thou....???
I read an artical in one of the 4x mags a while back that coverd the D60 rear and all the differences. Some of the housings are different too, i'll check my huge pile of mags and see if I can stumble opon it. Don't hold your breath waitin for it though[IMG] my brain lets me forget quite often[IMG].....
