As a spectator I can say that it was well worth the couple bucks they charge to get in. A nice mix of wheeling terrain, and what's better than seeing some guys beat the snot out of their rigs? I'll be there again this year as a spectator for sure.

When is this event, and do they still allow open wheeling in the park during the event?

I checked out RORP's website, but it did not say whether you could still wheel in other parts of the park while the event is going on. Anyone know?

I'd like to go watch the competition, but if I am going, I want to take the jeep and do some wheeling too.

I think they were allowing open trail riding on the areas where there were no events. We ran around the day after the spring event and was not restricted at all.

Neil, good to see you again down there, you guys (CCC) did a great job again with the timed trail run.

We went from first place at the end of day one, to tied for last at the end of the second day. Needless to say, sunday wasnt a very good day for us. Anywho, my pics are all in my webshots album in my sig.

Joe, great pictures. Looked like a real blast. The one thing about this is that the Rigs aren't out of this world, money wise. Looks like rigs that we would build and wheel. Are there rules that high dollar buggies and rigs can't enter?

I know the first one the vehicles still had to have a vin number, but there were 2 buggies at this one and i didnt see them checking for the vin's during the tech inspection, so im not really sure what the deal was this time. I didnt exactly read the rule sheet all the way :doah:
