Well kinda, My son will be 2 yrs old in July, And my nieghbor bought there 5 yr old one of those little electric J**Ps. And my son loves it. He had a fit when it was time to get out. I wounder if I can find one in a blazer body style. Or maybe I could buy a J**P and convert it over to a Blazer. I already now I could lift it a couple of inches. Then I could get pictures of my son pulling the J**P out of the mud.........LOL.........Dan

Sorry, couldn't find it. I thaught I had it, but, i guess I was wrong. I can tell you that it was in 4wheel&off-road (I'm pretty sure), in Drivelines section, and the mag was mid-late 90s (96-99) I think. Wes, I'm sure you got it :)

Just go to Toys R Us and they should have them. I saw the Chevy there not that long ago. My friends kid went right for the Jeep. I told him they explode if you go in the water and he screamed and went for the Chevy. Yeah I know I lied to a little kid but he needed to be lied too! [IMG]

My son had a "Big Foot" when he was about 4. Man, what a wheeler he was. Rolled it twice down in a ditch (not too deep but enought to tip it over). Mud, tall grass, he went everywhere, no fear. I was constantly wading through crapt to drag that thing out of some hole he had gotten it into.

My 7 year old daughter also has one of those electric Jeeps...of course I couldn't leave it alone and added a 12 volt wheelchair battery [IMG] I didn't think it would make that much difference but it sure seems to go! The best part is I only have to charge it once every 5 days...

Rene...more power (insert Tim Allen grunt here)[IMG]

13. how hard was the wheel chair battery swap? i wanted to put a car battery in there with some kind of voltage regulator so the motor wont burn up. might be too heavy though. damn kids wear that battery down in no time. maybe i should step up to one of those gas powered ones. i can just hear it though--"daaaaad, when is going to be my turn!!!"[IMG]

The wheelchair battery is a gel cell battery (deep cycle)
The only thing to watch for is that the two 6 volters are hooked in series so you have to watch the wiring of it...other than that it just drops in, isn't too heavy and still fits under the seat.

A Jeep sticker doesn't make it a real Jeep, so I don't really care...But at least its built not bought [IMG] (ok mildly modified for my convenience [IMG]) The one we bought was a warranty return with no charger and only one motor working. We got it for $60 from Wal-Mart. The one motor just had a loose connection and the Battery I already told ya aboot! [IMG]

Rene...working on a gas powered cordless screwdriver next...[IMG]

I just realized who posted this...gokartergo! (Even after I replied already it just took me til now- I am slow [IMG]) Make him up a little go cart! You can work up something way better then anything you can buy. You can put the wheels way out to the sides so it'll be really hard to roll over. I know he's only two but heck I've seen some kids at the speedway in midgets racing them as young as two! I'd never let my kid (if I had one) fly around the track going that fast. But you could I bet make something way way way better then you could buy and tone it down so it's safe for him then as he gets bigger build up so he can keep on using it! [IMG]
