Im a newb to the trails, but Im old also. I ride with a few guys from work, the local race series starts in a few months. Our average time is consistent with the top 5 racers from last year.

I was riding a 150$ wally world schwinn before I bought this, oh man this thing is fast!!! With Hyd brakes to boot!! Im hoping we have room to take it to URE this Oct for the Autumn Thump!!

You don't by chance have any buddies looking for a bike do ya? My sister-in-law has a 2005 Dakar XLT by Jamis for sale. I'm thinking she'll take a grand for it.

Nice bike. It reminds me that my mountain bike is shot. Time to rebuild.

That Intense and the parts on it would retail for somewhere around $8K, luckily he works at the bike shop and still has in the $3000 range into it at cost on parts!!! :eek1::eek1::eek1::eek1::eek1:
