Here I am again. Since I have never had my harmonic balancer off, I need to know if it is possible for oil to come through the center of my bottom serpentine pulley. There is no oil coming from around the seal in the timing cover that the harmonic goes through, but when I pull the center bolt out of the bottom pulley oil comes out. What is happening is that oil is coming out there and the pulley is slinging oil all over the front of my motor. Any help would be great. Thanks.

So there is no oil coming out from around the seal where the harmonic balancer goes into the timing chain cover...

But when you take the bolt out of the crank pulley, oil comes out of that hole? That should be a closed off hole in your cranks with threads in it.

Is there any oil coming out of the bottom gasket of your timing chain cover where it seats against the oil pan???

Checked all that. The oil is coming from the hole in the middle. Do you think oil is sneaking past the key that locks the harmonic on the crank?

Hmm.. Sounds like oil is finding a way between you harmonic balancer and the crank and coming out the pulley hole.

I have never seen the happen before...

Is the harmonic balancer install he whole way? You have to "press" the harmonic balancer onto the crank...

Does your pulley line up fine with the other pulleies and the belt runs fine?
