I got some paint on the threads for the oil pressure sender hole on the back of the block right behind the intake manifold and I want to clean it up a little with a tap.
Does anyone know the size tap needed?
I use a mechanical gauge and I can't get to the fitting because it's in the truck and the motor's in my garage.
    It would be much appreciated.

I'm pretty sure Friz is right, 1/8 inch NPT. The ones in the front and back of the block are 1/8 inch, the one right over the filter on the side is 1/4 inch i believe.
