What should the oil pressure be at in regular city driving? Mine seems high-like 45-50. Could there be too much oil in the crankcase?

It's good to have higher oil pressure, means the motor is tight with no major bearing wear. The amount of oil in the pan has nothing to do with it.

What kinda oil do you got in your truck? I got quaker state 10w 30 synthetic 4x4 oil. I just put it in today, I had quaker state 10w 30 over 3000 miles oil in there and i was hoping to get some more oil pressure out of it. Im still around 30 going down the road on a 5 minute drive, but the pressure drops on a long ride.
