OJT also known as Operation Justify a Truggy

Well after a full month of weekends (albeit a short month), I have some news about the operation. It was a success!!

Some have seen my sneek peaks of in progress but it is done and ready to wheel.

    What was this [IMG]

This is still my DD too (any body know a good deal on a powerstroke??:()

There are more pics in my sig. I just wanted my AZ buds to be the first to see it. (I do kinda miss the way it was though, full body and cleanish)

Looking sweet for its intended purpose , I like it . Good work . Thank GOD my stuff is reversible , and can made clean with sliders and plastic . You kept that thing full size for a lot longer than some of the AZ guys thought .

You can always get a clean truck later for cruising in with your girly , as a matter of fact there is a clean old 70's by my house been sale forever , I am sure they will take best offer to be rid of it :D

Doors are only on when it is cold, or raining. They haven't been offroad in 2 years.

I got a question though, for as long as I have known you, you have had that same sticker, is that the same windshield?

rocks, birds, kids with base balls...they all are attracted to my windshields:(

  Looks like you had Marv spotting for you. :haha:

:thumb: Looking good, I like how you narrowed the rear and mounted the spare tire. Are you still thinking about making the sliders higher or boatsiding?

We cut everything off from the rear spring hanger back. Matt is a flux core welding pro, and I am working on my pro status. :D

Getting all that work done was a PITA but it turned out pretty sweet. The truggy cage in the back turned out killer. :thumb:

Ya that is the same winshield. I would have had the original one that I bought it with but during a party in high school...... [long story involvind stupid decisions]...... I had to replace it.

I am still gonna boat side it.

The body panels are held on by luck, friction, and no more than a handfull of stratigicly (sp) placed spot welds.

I can do amazing things with a $200 110V flux welder.

    Thanx for the kind words:grin:

Everytime one of you guys do this to your k5s it makes mine more valuable:grin: .

I'm jealous tho', I'd like to have a toy like that for play:) . I think I saw this at the Discount Tire on 43rd in Glendale the other day when I was getting a spare for mine.
