Never have had the need for it.....besides, if I ever did, I'd NEVER use Armorall on my tires or dash parts. The sun hits it and dries out the material and makes it crack faster.

Yup, I sure do. I don't use Armor All for reasons already stated, I use other stuff. Since I don't drive the K5 much anymore, and the tires have to last, I use some sort of protectant to keep the rubber alive.

Dash, Tires, Panels inside, Rubber, Fender wells, never had a cracked dash yet and it is easier to clean after I go wheeling. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I thought the point of that stuff is to prevent cracking?

I've done it a few times. One time I armor-all'd my motorcycle seat. Baad idea, hehe. Every time I throttled I'd slide back then braked and slid forward /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Speaking off, if you put armor all in your mudders tread, wont that help clean out the mud?

Rumor has it that the chemical compound of Armor All promotes cracking. Don't really know how true it is. Back in the day, I tried Formula 2001 cause Armor All didn't work worth crap. The F2001 lasted for weeks and right now, that's what my tire bling bling stuff is, the spray on and leave it stuff.

[IMG] I use eagle one tire shine almost every time I wash my blazer which is once every week or so. It's good for the rubber especially during the summer months.

yeah, i am pretty sure its a rumor about the cracking and drying. I used it on a 82 fleetwood brougham caddy i used to have in college(yikes) and it kept the leather seats from cracking for many years, infact, they never cracked and this was in sunny California - Riverside area.

FYI: Don't use the foam crap in the cans, with our big tires the can will only last a few applications. I always go for the liquid shine in the spray bottles because I can get quite a few applications out of one bottle. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I guess it pays off being the king of bling. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif
