yea, too bad it isn't mine huh? [IMG]

I purchased my fathers house, and he built a new one (he is a carpenter by trade). well the only thing he uses the shop for is to park his tractor in during the winter so it is easier to start (the one he uses to feed the cows), and during haying season he parks the equipment outside to work on...

well he's gone for a year and a half on a mission, and sold his cows. even when he gets back I will have to sacrifice a bay, but only during winter. the rest of the time it is unused, and he's offed to let me use it.

actually I think he is going to sell this one to me, and build another one that he'll just park his tractors in. (at least that is what my mother is trying to get him to do, and I sure wouldn't complain. man that thing is even big enough I could put a lift in!!!)

hmmmm you mean to tell me those drawers on the tool box are suppose to SHUT?

now I have my work cut out for me-- Do you actually have those little bins seperated? When I ripped the truck apart, we used Quick (choco milk) can's to put ALL the bolts/screws/nuts/washers in-- was really fun trying to figure out what went where-- I might have to invest in some of those little bin things

LOL!!! check this out! (about the little bin's)

I actually took ALL of my father bolts (my great grandfather homesteaded the ranch I live on, who sold it to my grandfather, who sold it to my father - so they were collected for years and handed down from one person to another), and I separated them by size! I filled one bin with bolts, one with washers, and another with nuts! when a bin was filled I'd throw the rest away, and I'm betting I chucked a 5 gallon bucket full of bolts, washers, and nuts! (I was a sinner though because I did keep fine and course in the same bin)

did the same with all the electrical stuff (connecters etc.), plumbind stuff etc. man it was such a mess doing my other engine rebuild because non of his stuff was organize. I ended up purchasing tools he had, and all kinds of other stuff. man if I'd have been able to find what was in there I'd bet I'd have saved myself about 6 hours in running errands, and about a hundred bucks in specialty tools & bolts etc.)

LOL!!! you had to ask??? actually it came down more to the fact that I had no idea what was in there, and if I'm doing to start using it to do my restoration projects I wanted to know exactly what I had, and what I needed.

now when I need something I can find it very easily, or I now I've gotta go get it. I'm not about to spend as much time searching for things as I was.

hey, cleaning that shop was murderous enough! (not gonna be volunteering for anymore... [IMG]) I don't think I am going to be volunteering for a job like that again for quite sometime... [IMG]

I tell ya what though it is going to be really nice to work in there! don't know if you guys noticed that heater in the one corner? man I can run that thing for 5 minutes and it will warm up the entire place in the middle of winter! (I'm going to try to find a wood burning stove for next winter)
I tell ya
