ok i have this old 1 ton out back...

    its a 2 wheel drive. It has the motor and tranny out. Could I throw my 10bolt 3/4 ton axle under it put a 4 wheel drive tranny in it and a motor and call it a 4 wheel drive? Probably a dumb question but i have alot of parts layin around and thought maybe....

    well, obviously you'd have to do a SFA swap to it. making hangers and stuff like that would be needed

    its a lot easier to do an sfa on a truck that when 4wd WAS sfa, rather than one that had ifs 4x4... DO IT
