What exactly are you dealing with? 465/205, 350/203, etc.

My parts manual only goes up to '88, so apparently 208 only (thats what it says) but it shows both of the gaskets for either side of the adapter.

Group 4, if you want to talk with a GM parts person, should probably get them in the right place.

If you bought one of those cheap, crappy Haynes repair manuals from an Auto Parts store, then there will not be anything in them except maybe two paragraphs saying nothing more than "un-bolt and remove". If you do not have the bucks to pony-up for a factory manual, then you could try going to your local Community College in your area with an Automotive class shop, and see if they will let you photo copy the information you need from their manuals. Many College Automotive shops have an expensive set of Chilton service manuals; or even better you could try signing up for their driveline class, and you will have all their facilities at your disposal.

That is correct. There are Repair Manuals, and then there are Service Manuals.

yes ues i know that thank you, i have been working on cars scence i was 6 years old. In auto shop we had a really cool program, it was like almost 1000.00$ but it had all the cars and everything you could possibly want to know about each one, i think they should put the manuals on a CD that would be pretty cool /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
