    not on grass...

I know it wont sound possible, but I have heard my brothers 68 Impala, with a 327 motor from a 62 'Vette and a muncie 4 spd ,squeal the tires on hard packed clay in a field used as a parking lot!!..even he was suprised when we heard the tires --it was more of a squawk than squeal though--happened during a corner ("corner rubber"!)..but on grass,I've never heard a peep out of my tires--they spin like they are on ice,but make no squealing!..

I learned the hard way in my 69 GTO to never "light em up" on a steel grating covered bridge!..it sounded cool, the car slid sideways,etc!..but after I got home,I found out the noise I heard that I thought were pebbles being flung out of the tire treads, was actually the tread istelf!:eek1: :doah: ..both rear tires looked like I used a cheese grater on them!..JUNK!:( ..they dont say "GTO" is an abbreviation for "gas, tires, and oil" for nothing!.

Oh and what about 30-40 rounds fired from a 6 shot revolver with no reloading ??????:haha: :haha:
