Okay Time To Paint

    Ok I am going to rattle can it. Two questions for those who have gone before. How many Cans? How Many Hours? Dont Wana take 3 trips to the store and have a half painted truck for a week.

    I've painted a few cars with rattle cans and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised (so long as you do a good prep job). A Volvo sedan took me around 5-6 cans. A VW bus took 7. Your Blazer body will probably use no less than 6, and only 2 are needed for the top. Make sure you've got your technique down, and do your index finger exercises before hand, cause I guarantee some cramping.

    Check where you buy your paint they make a little handle for spray cans so you pull a trigger like a spray gun. it helps your fingers not to fall off and will make you spray a nicer pattern.

    The little helpers I bought didn't work that well. After about 3 seconds, I was back to using the old index finger.

    gonna take more than 6 cans....
    make sure you prep it good and clean the surface... any bare area's need primer.... some good mea=tal etching primer...

    I believe I used about 10 cans when I painted my old 81 flat black. And that was my 1st coat. I never got to doing the 2nd coat cuz I sold it.
