firefighter184 and I are planning a trail run on Sunday, June 12.

    Old Chinaman's Gulch (OCG)

John has to be back in Denver by 5 PM so we are planning an early start. Hope to hit the trail by 8 AM.

I'm staying in Buena Vista with my parents, but John will be camping near the trail Saturday night.

I wanted to give everyone enough time for planning if they wanted to campout also. And guys like B_to_C who work weekends need to request the time off.

I've been reading trip reports over at CO4x4 and this looks like a kickass trail.

I talked to Kev last night about it. I have an auction to run that Sat/Sun so I'm out unless something major changes.

Have fun -sniffle - without me (tear).

    Get some good pics.

The Blazer SHOULD be finished by then, and even if it isn't I'll be there, spotting for you clowns again. Hopefully, there isn't too much mud for your MTR's Scott... :D

No laying down on the job for you buddy! A trail without John spotting........it'd be crushed metal, broken bones, blood n guts, and anarchy.

Scott has been nude mudwrestling with alligators in preparation for this trip. No mud shall stand in his way EVER AGAIN!

By the way get some pics of your Blingy truck Johnny.

    I'm in.

Nick, sounds like you are going to have to quit that job if it keeps getting in the way of your fun. :D

You could always do a mock arrest Kevin, 24 hours in the trail tank. Just make sure to rough Nick up a bit for realism.

I was thinking about a kilt. Since that trip, I've trashed two more pairs of pants. Down to two that still look OK. Wife is pissed. Guess I'll be headin to the surplus store for some cheap BDU's for wheelin, spotting and working on the truck...

Well I got my "new" 400 in this holiday weekend. So I'm ready to hit the trail on the 12th. Can't wait to try it out.

This will also be my first trail with a steering brace.

    Sooo, who's in?

Just out of curiosity does anyone have a good idea of who's going Sunday? By my count it's firefighter184, MrK5, Ktedesco, Burblover, Myself and possibly B to C. There's a good chance the magnificent Wee Man (my 12 year old son) will be along as well if no one has objections to kids. Looking forward to meeting you all. Rich
