I'm looking at buying a 85 1 ton 2wd truck. Now the guy said it hit a curb and will not turn sharply one direction. What would be bent to cause this? I have not seen the truck yet to check it out in person.

    Check the A-arms and stuff...

We got an 83 C30 parts truck here and the front end is undamaged. If you buy this and need parts let me know.

Rene, I'll know on the 2nd if I am going to get it and if I can't find any parts locally I'll be in touch. If I get it this will be my DD/tow rig for the time being. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

May be a stretched draglink. It may have pulled the end on it and stripped the threads. I wouldn't think a damaged tie rod would cause it to not turn as sharp in one direction and not the other.
