.....they worked on a Honda CRX. What a great show on modifying a car to classify it as a 'Rice burner'! [IMG]

Funny you should mention that. I sent them a pretty mean email earlier this week about how they made a big mistake doing their show on that and how I wouldn't watch it. Hopefully a bunch of other guys like us did the same thing.

They are a bunch of chevy fags too. Don't get me wrong, I love GM trucks and cars, but they Poop on the MOPARS all the time, I want to write them and tell them they are gay, that no one has a garage with black/white tile floors with NO oil/grease on it and don't get their hands dirty while doing a complete engine swap. Sorry, I had to vent,!!!

Yuck... if they are adding wings and stuff... otherwise if it is just some decent wheels and motor mods I see no harm in it. I persoanlly respect the import scene until you add the retarded wings and stuff.

Itali83... you are right they crap on Mopar all the time, but cripes... now days the average man can't build up a good mopar motor anymore... it is just to expensive... I can build up a ford and a chevy for the price of one mopar in reality, But man am I a sucker for a nice roadrunner...[IMG].

<font color=purple> I totally agree with Mikey, It's absolutely unbelievable what they get out of those engines now a days ! If they don't add the wings and coffee can exhaust tips then it is appealing to me ............. They can perform great with the mods they do to them !

Well, it is "Horsepower TV". It isn't "V8 TV". They're going after ratings. Hondas and stuff are really popular because of the power you can get out of them for relativly cheap and still get decent milage and if they show stuff like that the show will apply to a wider audience.
I don't watch Horsepower TV anymore because they don't explain everything and they rarely get anything to put on that isn't less than $800 anymore. They just say, "We got this blah blah from blah blah that will add 10 hp with out hurting your wallet *chuckle* at 50 gagillion dollars and we're gonna put it on our pro street blah blah" and then they slap it on.
I like to watch Trucks and I think it's called Hotrodding TV. Hotrodding TV explains how everything works really well and like sunday, they went over computers (like what's in the camaro that we have) which applies more to me. They've also gone into a real good explanation of how carborators work up to some really technical stuff and still kept it from being over your head. Other shows just assume you know how everything works and that you can visualize the brief description that they give. I have learned more from Hotrodding TV in the 3 shows I've seen than the many years of watching Horsepower TV. Just my opinion though. [IMG]

I used to not like ricers at all. Mainly because they were the phony wings and exhaust and annoying punks driving them. I started going to the drag strip and after talking to some of the guys who are in it for real, they're pretty cool! Mommy's not funding these guys and they are getting obsene times at the track without investing much. You could pick up a rotory engine Mazda for not much at all, spend a couple thousand suping it up and you've got an impressive dragster.
Just like some people look at it as there are poser 4x4's who are a--holes and drive like idiots and then there is the real deal.

    I've got a mind like a . . . a . . . what's that thing called?
