The people who have the mentality to make posts like the one below are the reason we are loosing the right to enjoy the outdoors in our K5's and other RV's. That’s my opinion, what’s yours?

    ********************************************

"Tread Lightly" is the greenies emasculating our blazers! I for one will not tread lightly unless it's private, a park or a protected area. If I'm on national forest and my blazer can go there it does. Vote Republican, keep our rights!

    ****************************************

    Pure ignorance.

    See Ya,
    Keith

    Attitude
    Education is the key.
People have to realize we are not only battling the "land conservationists" but a very bad reputation.
Comments like that are what the opposition will key on .
I'd have to say that 70% of wheelers are responsible and
another 20%would respect the trails once they realize the impact. There is a lot of ignorance out there.
The best way is to tread lightly, set an example and STICK TOGETHER. A common organized front that speaks loudly and has major impact.

This post came from the "Tread Lightly!" thread. If this type of thing concerns you you might want to check out that thread, too. This is very important to those of us who enjoy using the 4WD option on our Blazers. I made my coments there & don't feel like retyping, but I will say one thing again; find out what "Tread Lightly!" is about before you bash them. I read his origanil post in tread-lightly. And was first to respond to him. I probably shouldn't have untill I calmed down and realized that Education is the key. He is young and it is in ours and everybodys best interest to educate them. We all do stupid things from time to time and maybe he was just mouthing off. But we need to teach them that if we don't respect the land we will lose it. I and most older people on this site now this from our own experinces.

    That is true.....
I get upset when i see it going on...
Our 4x club works very hard in the community here in the skagit valley to give us all a good name. All it takes is one "dumb@ss" to blurr our image. True it may be an accident or a mistake, or a over-reaction, but ti takes all of us more experienced 4x'ers to show the others what we mean. I get 3 to 4 emails a day from the regional 4x office saying more and more groups are running petitions to close this and gate that...
We all have to act, speak up, and tread lightly!
    PLEASE...
Our rigs do no good if we have to stay on the pavement do they????
We all know 4 hi and 4 lo dont go over well on pavement...
