Got it done yesterday. Mom wasn't happy, she was all worried how dad will react. He won't know for a long time if I have anything to do about it. She smiled when I explained its meaning to me.

sweet, this is the first piece I've got with more then 3 none black colors. I still prefer black work but the color makes this piece.

Not the only place I have one, just one of them. It was a little tender there or at least more than the outside of the arm

have you got a specific artist or have you had them done by different people? seems like they are all very good work.

only 2 artists have worked on me. My friend Amanda and her boss Mark. He did my rib piece, she has done everything else on me. She drew this piece up for me. Its the first thing she drew for me. Usually she takes something I give her and mods it slightly or just goes right from it.

Yeah when it got on the bicep and up near the armpit was bad, but overall it wasn't nearly as bad as the ribs or thigh.

There is a girl in my class who has the letters "HPOE" on her lower back... play with those letters and figure out what got mistranslated in a German tattoo shop when she was drunk :haha:

true outlining almost always hurts more. However on large tats or long sessions I find shading can be as bad or worse. Sore flesh doesn't like to be poked, let alone pierced repeatedly.

oh and this could very likely be the start of a half sleeve... another half sleeve... someday I'll finish the first one... :doah:

pretty crappy pic of the one that i had done on Tuesday, but here it is.

Tuesday was the 2nd anniversary of my grandfather's death, so i thought i'd get soemthing in memory of him. it will be added to again in the future, although im not sure what or when.

Hmm....Cool execution of an odd idea in tats.

I would NEVER get anything with the word "mom" in it inked on me. Just seems soooooo........mullet like. Don't get me wrong, I love and respect my mother more than any other person on this earth....but I don't feel like I need to get a tat to affirm that. And for the record, I have 4 tats.

yeah, a buddy said "you are officially white trash". ALl the guys at the tattoo shop looked at it, thought for a second and said "I should get something like that for my mom". Eh whatever to each their own.

watching these new tattoo shows on tv makes me sure want to get more ink, but i have decided that i will not get anymore ink unless its of my own drawing. i do tattoo style drawings or flash. just cant afford it either, priorities, truck parts first. :D
