    Opinions on the \'05 Colorado/Canyon

I'm needing a new truck, and these seem to fit the bill.

I've already got it picked out too.

2005 GMC Canyon or Chevy Colorado (probably go with Canyon)
    3.5L I-5
    5 speed manual
    4x4
    Z71 package
    Summit White w/color keyed flares
    extended cab
    tilt/cruise
    manual windows/locks
    cloth 60/40 bench seat
    rear sliding window

what are your opinions on these things?

It might just be me but I think those trucks are overpriced. If you catch a 04 Silverado before they are all gone I bet you can get one for the same price. I dunno check that out and see what you think.

    I know they're pricey, but it's what I want.

I'm also willing to pay for it because it gets better gas mileage than a Silverado. That and I don't really like the fullsize trucks.

THAT AND I CAN'T GET IT IN A STRAIGHT-DRIVE THE WAY I WANT IT!!!

/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif What in the world is GM thinking. If I was gonna get a midsize truck I would get a Dakota and get either a V6 or a V8.

They are nice trucks, ive driven a few of them at work and really like em. The 3.5L has plenty of power, and they are really really smooth, just like its big brother the 4.2L. They seem to be pretty reliable too, I very rarely see them in the shop for warranty work.
