Posted this on the ORD forum, no response. The 'pocket' on the trunion cap is overall deeper (by the thickness of the arm, apx 1") on the new ORD arm..........any need to concern myself about a longer spring?

What you should have is a round spacer to go in there and then the stock spring on top.

Not sure, I got mine from Rockstomper. Every one I have seen though used a round spacer. My Rockstomper arm bolts on top of the cap instead of inbetween.

Now that I think about it more, doesn't the ORD arm come with the little dome top welded in about even with the top of the arm? I tried looking on their site but, it doesn't seem to be on the catalog page. Anyway, if you don't have the little top-hat looking thing to bolt up on top of the arm, then you wouldn't need a longer spring or spacer. The pocket formed by the little dome cap and the arm replaces the pocket in the top-hat. Does that make sense?

Yep, it is, you I believe are absolutely correct Russ. Thanks for the help..........I hadn't looked too closely at it and had it masked off for painting.
